When Christine and Spencer asked us to photograph their engagement pictures in Boone, we jumped at the chance to travel to the mountains. The weather called for rain, and instead we had a ton of fog! It was our first time driving through the mountains unable to see more that 6 feet ahead of us, but that didn’t stop the fun! We started at the Moses Cone Manor for pictures just as the fog cleared enough to see the house and the lake. Oh, and how can I forget about the horses that stopped in to say hello!
From the manor, we transitioned to the family cabin equipped with its own river and gorgeous boulders! What we loved most was this couple was not afraid to be themselves. They were playful and full of love and laughter. We cannot wait to photograph their wedding on 12.14.19.
(Side note: river rocks are slippery…ask me how I know.)
